There is no doubt that Apples iPhone is a revolutionary device, the doubt I have is whether it is really suitable for business users. Blackberry has always been the first port of call when it comes to work mobiles, they know what they are doing and they do it well. My biggest gripe about the iPhone is its touch screen, I constantly find that the screen becomes dirty with finger prints and smudges which can hinder the working of the touch screen. That said the iPhone’s screen is a lot larger than that of any of the Blackberry handsets, meaning that watching online videos and reading documents can sometimes be easier.
Blackberry’s email features are more targeted to business users than that of the iPhone on which you have to click into your email inbox and remember your last unread email count to establish if there are any new mails. With Blackberry they combine both personal and work email within the same inbox with push technology meaning that your phone alerts you when you have a new email, this is especially useful in when you receive a very important business email. Both Blackberry handsets and iPhones have similar capabilities, whether your new Blackberry or iPhone will be your next best friend or not will depend on your intended usage.
